These beautifully detailed long statement earrings feature a stylised golden hand design with a single freshwater pearl. The freshwater pearl has a very subtle lilac iridescent colour, which takes on an amazing, beautiful sheen in certain lights. This iridescence with the organic, uneven texture of the pearl looks great with the strong, classic hand charm.
Hands were used in Victorian jewellery to represent friendship, loyalty and fidelity.
