Personalised lockets

A personalised photo locket is a piece of jewellery that opens to hold one or more small photographs and can be engraved with initials, a name, a date or a short message. Our lockets are available in brass, sterling silver and 18ct gold vermeil, and are personalised by hand in our Edinburgh studio. We also make book lockets, which hold two photographs and can be engraved on the cover, with the option to include a tiny folded message inside.

While we can work with nearly any image, we want your locket to look its best. If an image isn't suitable, we'll always let you know and give you the chance to send another.

Photos with a little background tend to work better, as very tightly cropped faces may not display as well.

For our tiny lockets, we recommend a maximum of two people per photograph and avoiding large group shots.

Most of our lockets hold two photographs. Some larger designs can hold significantly more, with selected styles accommodating up to twenty photos. Book lockets hold two photographs plus an optional folded message. The capacity of each locket is listed on the individual product page.

A book locket is a miniature book-shaped locket that holds two photographs and can be engraved on the cover. You can also include a tiny folded message inside. Available in brass and silver-plated finishes, each one is personalised to order in our Edinburgh studio.
